We're off!

Dear friends,
After almost two years of planning and preparation, we are finally embarking on our pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Spain today! We begin our day with Mass and then travel to the airport in Boston. Later today we will fly to Madrid, via Miami (a total of about 12 hours in the plane!), and then travel by bus to Zamora where we will stay with host families until Monday, August 15.

We may or may not have internet access while in Zamora, so this may be the last update until 8/15. If we are unable to upload blog posts while in Zamora we will prepare them and upload them all when we arrive at our hotel in Madrid.

Please keep us in your prayers, and we will be praying for all of you as well!

  1. Dear WYD Pilgrims,

May the Lord's Blessing, His Grace and the Holy Spirit be with you. I see that your flight landed safely in Madrid, and I hope it was a comfortable and uneventful one.I look forward to your post from Zamora, letting us know that you've arrived safely at your destination as we have faith in God, but as parents can't help but worry (a bit...).

Spain is a beautiful country filled with faith and wonderful people. I know you will find the face of God in those that you meet, and they in turn will find God in each of you. Have a wonderful time!

    God Bless,

    Rick Sales
